Description A strong-willed young woman, who, frustrated by on-going injustice at home, leaves the U.S. after meeting Jude, an American doctor who runs a remote medical mission within the Ottoman Empire. A world both exotic and dangerous, and on the brink of what is about to become World War I. The Ottoman Lieutenant is a must see. It is about the transformation of a former Ottoman soldier, named Tamerlane, into a modern day Muslim, with his interactions with fellow Muslims and with the non-Muslims of the Ottoman Empire. The film starts with Tamerlane and his new wife, Zara, meeting and talking in the village of a friend, who takes them to see a Turkish minaret. The movie follows their journey through Anatolia, the Middle East, Europe, and the United States. The movie is based on a book by renowned Turkish historian, Atilla Demirci, who was an advisor to the movie. The book was adapted by A.N.Babayli and his son, F.E.E. Yilmaz. The movie is a tribute to those who fought in World War I, as well as to the victims of World War II. The film shows how the modern day Turkish Muslims have been influenced by the war, as well as how they have been affected by the war itself. The movie shows how the Turks and Muslims have become separated from each other, and how they have come together to fight for their common cause. The movie is a well-made, moving, and accurate portrayal of the Turkish-Islamic conflict. The movie is recommended for all ages. The movie is worth seeing.

I have been a WWII buff for as long as I can remember. But the Turkish war, the movie "An Ottoman Lieutenant" showed the true side of the war, the men, the small units, the officers, the Turkish soldiers. I can honestly say that the movie is worth watching for the sheer history and the unbelievable portrayal of the Turks. The acting is brilliant, and the scenes are well done. The story is very well done. The film makes you understand why the Turks were willing to risk everything for their country. The battle scenes are excellent. The soldiers are like real people. The movie is very interesting and moving. The film is very well made and I would definitely recommend it.

I just finished watching this movie, I haven't watched a movie since "Munich" and this was the best movie I have seen in ages. I've read a few reviews and a few people have said that the movie was a waste of time. I think that is very short-sighted. You have to watch it for yourself and you don't have to like it to understand it. It is a very good film, it is based on a true story. I think it is very good and worth watching.

This is a great movie about a young man who is a famous Turkish soldier. The story is well told and is so well done that it's hard not to feel like you are there. The characters are well developed, the atmosphere is very real and the cinematography is superb. This movie is not for everyone, but it's definitely worth seeing. I hope it gets a lot of attention and gets more exposure.

This movie really touches your heart. The story is very believable, the actors are superb, the scenes are very moving. You can see the fear, the pain, the joy of the soldiers. And the scenes with the Ottoman Lieutenant and the Russians is the most touching scene in the movie. I really loved this movie and would recommend it to everybody. It is really a story of hope, of courage, of loyalty. All these emotions, these emotions in the story of the Ottoman Lieutenant, are really touching. I would recommend this movie to everybody. The movie was very well done and the director did a great job in making the movie a perfect movie.

I loved this movie and am sure it will be a favorite of mine when I have the chance to watch it again. I found the story and the characters to be very believable. I also enjoyed the music score and the cinematography. The characters are all very realistic. I would love to see this movie again and would be very interested to hear from other viewers about what they think. This movie will be one of the must see movies of the year.

I remember reading in the book the story of the kidnapping of the 'son of a bitch', the tale of the Jewish merchant who was taken and sold as a slave in Istanbul. It was not until years later that I discovered this movie was based on this same story. I really liked this movie, especially the cast and especially the cinematography. It was good to see a movie with a realistic portrayal of the plight of Jews in Ottoman Turkey during WW1. The movie is very well done and depicts the events of a real life. It is an interesting movie that I recommend to anyone who wants to learn more about the history of the Ottoman Empire.

I have never been so moved by a movie. I'm just like the rest of the people who have been swept away by the movie. I was at a university, and it was my first time seeing it. I think it was the first time for a couple of years. The director did a really good job of showing the brutality of the war, and how everyone's life was on the line. I could feel the heart of the people in this movie, and how they were trapped. I can't say I felt like I was in that place, but it was close. I've been in the same situation, and I can relate to the feeling that everyone was just a part of the machine, and everyone was just doing what was required. I think the movie is very realistic, and if you are willing to look at it from a historical perspective, it's very powerful. I think people need to watch it, and get to know their history. I think the movie is worth seeing, and I think it deserves the praise it got.

I loved the movie. I think it was very well acted. I saw it twice and both times I enjoyed it more the second time around. The music was very well done. The story of the movie was great and very interesting. I like how the movie started off. I think the director did a very good job in keeping the viewer interested and on the edge of their seat. The ending was also very good and a very good ending for a movie like this. I was surprised to see the Turkish director's name in the credits. I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes movies that are realistic and that tell a story. The movie had a great story and the characters were very well developed. I highly recommend this movie. It was a very well done movie.

This movie is one of the best I have ever seen, and I have seen many movies. The acting is top notch, the story is incredible, the plot is fantastic. The movie is full of humor, there are many lines in the movie that will have you in tears. The best part of the movie is that it doesn't show the ending. The only thing that I can say is that it will be hard for you to guess the end, but I would suggest that you not to have a clue until the last 10 minutes of the movie. Overall this movie is fantastic, I recommend it to everyone.

I don't know why the critics are giving this movie so low a rating. It's a great movie with great actors, and great direction. The story is very good. The movie moves very fast and you can't take your eyes off the screen. I just wish that it was in English. Otherwise it would be very difficult to understand the language. The only thing that bothered me was the accent. I can't tell you how many times I had to pause the movie and look up the subtitles to understand what the characters were saying. This movie should be shown in theaters, because it is a must see.

A great film that takes you back to the origins of war in the late 19th century, with an amazing portrayal of a brave and inspiring character, and a whole cast of great actors, that do justice to their roles. The music score is perfect, and the cinematography is simply incredible. It is a film that should be seen by everyone, and it will give you a whole new perspective on the world. I am very happy that I have seen this film, and I recommend it to everyone.

I was really surprised with this film, not only because it was made by a Turkish director, but because it was the first Turkish movie I've seen that I was actually interested in. The movie is about a Turkish officer in World War I, who leads a group of fellow officers in an attack on a German town, hoping to capture it. But, the plan goes awry when the Germans fire on the Allied soldiers and the officers are forced to abandon the mission. This film is not just about the action sequences. It's about the characters, and the characters are very important to the story. One of the characters, when speaking to his comrades, said that they should be thankful that they have been given this life. I was not even aware of the importance of the character until the end of the film. He said that he should be thankful that he had been given this life. This was a very powerful and moving speech. The movie also has a great message. I was particularly interested in the part where the soldier said that he wanted to tell his wife that he was not dead. I thought that the movie was excellent, and I highly recommend it.

I'm from Spain and I saw this movie on my Spanish class. The director was from the same class as me, so I had a great time watching it. The story is very good and the acting is very good. You could feel how they lived their lives, the way they behaved, their relationship, their fight. The plot is very good, the acting is very good, and the director did a very good job of directing it. I recommend this movie to everyone.

I was fortunate enough to attend a screening of this movie at the London Film Festival. I have not read the book so I cannot comment on the movie but I did read that it was based on the book, which is accurate. I was impressed by the cinematography and the acting. I have always been fascinated with the Ottoman Empire and this movie made me realise how much the people of the Empire had suffered. The story was well told and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in this period in world history.

I've never seen this film and can't remember where I saw it. In fact, I haven't seen any movie at all. But, this is the best movie I've ever seen. I was actually a little disappointed when I saw it because I thought it was going to be a little long. But, this is not a movie that you can easily turn off and you won't be bored with it. The performances were incredible and the story was interesting. This is definitely a movie you should see.

This movie tells the story of a young boy who was sent to Istanbul with his family to fight the war. This movie is very inspiring. This is a very touching story about the mother's pain when she sees her son go to war and how it impacts her son. This movie is very powerful and emotional. The acting was great and I have to give this movie a 10. The characters were very well done and the movie kept me interested. This movie will leave you with a lot of emotions and it's a movie that I can watch over and over again. This movie will stay with you and you will be surprised at how powerful it is.

I didn't expect this film to be that good. But I was wrong. It was well acted, with great cinematography. I recommend it for anyone who wants to see a movie about the battle of Waterloo. I think it is also interesting to see what would have happened if France had won the war. It is a very interesting film and well worth the watch.
