Description Bjarke Ingels started out as a young man dreaming of creating cartoons. Now, he has been named "one of architecture's biggest innovators" by The Wall Street Journal and one of The 100 Most Influential People on the planet by TIME Magazine. BIG TIME follows Bjarke during the course of 7 years (2009-2016), while he struggles to finish his biggest project so far. We are let into Bjarke's creative processes as well as the endless compromises that his work entails, and we are on the side when his personal life starts putting pressure on him, too. In addition to the recently opened architectural marvel VIA 57 West (625 West 57th Street), Bjarke Ingels' company Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) was given the task of designing and building one of the skyscrapers which will replace Two World Trade Center in Manhattan. While Bjarke is creating these buildings, which will change the New York skyline, he is hit by health-related issues. The Film offers an intimate look into the innovative and ambitious Danish architect, whom the entire world is celebrating as a genius.

I saw this movie at the 2005 Toronto Film Festival and enjoyed it very much. The documentary is a very good look at the history of Bjork and her music, but it's also very funny and enjoyable. The film starts out with the idea that Bjork's music is very popular and that the music industry is full of people who do not know anything about music. The film then jumps to the world of Bjork's own music. She was only 20 years old when this film was made and the film does not tell her story in the way that a normal person would. There are interviews with her family and friends and those who are really good friends with her. They also talk about how her music was very popular at the time, but it was only a reaction to the music industry. Bjork herself also talks about how her music is influenced by other people and how her music has become very popular because of her fame. She talks about how people are always saying "I love Bjork, she is so popular", and how she is now just a huge fan. She also talks about how she has always wanted to be a musician, but the story is always about how she made the big breakthrough into the music industry. The film is very funny and I was laughing a lot. I also liked the interview with the photographer, because he was really funny and didn't talk about Bjork's music at all. There are also some nice interviews with Bjork herself, but I didn't find her interviews as interesting as the other interviews. Overall I really liked this documentary. I think that it's very funny and entertaining and if you are a fan of Bjork, you will like it. 7/10
