Description SARIA explores the unimaginable hardships faced by young female orphans at the Virgen de La Asuncion Safe Home in Guatemala, leading up to the tragic fire which claimed 41 of their lives in 2017. We follow the story of two inseparable orphaned sisters - Saria 12, and her sister Ximena 14, as they fight against mounting daily physical abuse at the very institution designed to protect them. In the sisters' desperation for survival, they devise a daring plan of escape for all the orphans to find freedom in America.

I was shocked and appalled by the reviews I read about this movie. I would never have expected it to be so highly rated. But, for some reason, this film really resonated with me. I have watched it twice in two days. And I really do feel that it's one of those movies that will stick in my memory for a long time. The plot, although very unusual, is not as unique as you'd think. I'm not sure what's unique about the character Saria, but she certainly is not your typical "bad guy", so it makes sense that the plot centers on her. But, the plot doesn't have anything to do with what I'd expect in a movie like this. It's simply a story about a woman and her relationship with a man. And it's told in a very gentle and sweet way, so that I didn't expect a very intense plot. The character Saria is played by Eva Mendes. She's very convincing. I loved her character. It's not every day that you see a performance like this. But, the performance alone is worth the price of admission, because she's so convincing. This movie is one of the few I have seen that I can watch and be very calm when I'm watching it. I would not be disappointed if I would. It's not all action, but it is not completely silent either. The characters are quiet and realistic. You don't feel like you're watching a movie with special effects. It's not Hollywood. You don't feel like you're watching a movie from Hollywood. And it's not about "saving the world". It's about the relationships and the art of "love". I know it's a strange title, but I think that's exactly what the movie is trying to say. In this world, people are looking for love, but no one is ever in love with the way they are. And that is what makes them confused, because they don't understand love. I'm not saying it's a great movie, but it is a very, very beautiful and touching movie. It's not for everyone. But I think that's what the movie is trying to say. I wouldn't recommend it to everybody, but I would recommend it to anyone who has some kind of emotional need.
