But when the friends discover that their favorite distillery has been turned into a winery, the newly sober groom, Gordie, seizes on an even better adventure: search for the legendary buried Prohibition money deep within the woods of Bullitt County, KY. The others reluctantly join him on his quest, only to discover there's something much more dangerous in Bullitt County than cursed treasure. The friends may have forgotten the dark secret from their past, but the past hasn't forgotten them.

On a bright, warm night in Baltimore, a black trash container is lifted out of the harbor and is put on the same day at the Alcatraz State Prison. Five prisoners are assigned to the container and the guards, who are all white, are the only people who know about the container. The prisoners are learning the rules and rules for the life time of the container, and the rules also include living, eating, talking and even fighting. When the prison security begins to notice the strange behavior, they give the prisoners a warning to go to work or they will be given a good beating. But when the container is brought into the prison, it is found that the prison guards do not like the container. The guard who is assigned to the container is fired and is later arrested. The prisoner who did not see the container is sent to work. As the container moves deeper and deeper into the prison, the prisoners begin to fight and argue with each other. The prison guards see the containers as they were meant to be. They are painted like prisoners, and they can't get rid of them. They are also the only people who know the rules of the container, and they are determined to take revenge. "On the Rain-Slick Precipice of the New England Countryside" (1978) is a brutal, darkly comic prison-caper movie. It stars Steve Martin and is about a prison where white people do not like blacks, and it also is about a bunch of prisoners who learn the rules of the prison. The movie has a good feel to it, and it makes you care about the characters. I think that Steve Martin's performance is one of the best I've ever seen. I think that "On the Rain-Slick Precipice of the New England Countryside" is a very underrated movie. I recommend that you see this movie at least once.
