A rare treat in that it is so bad it is good. I have never seen a film that had such a high budget, but the production values are what makes this film worth seeing. This is a true story about a team of Russian hockey players who compete in the 1972 Winter Olympics. They are portrayed in the most stereotypical fashion possible. They are all the same height, they are all blonde, and they are all good at hockey. But they are not good at anything. The film begins with the team getting a call from their coach asking them to take a week off. They have a series of problems, such as a drunk driver, a missing girl, and a dead body. One day they decide to go to the lake to celebrate their victory. They are all dressed in their team colors, except for one player who is dressed in a "gentleman's" uniform. This man is played by Vladimir Smirnov, who plays the same character in the previous film, "The Pawnbroker". When they arrive at the lake, they realize that they have been dressed in "gentleman's" uniforms, and they realize that they are not good at anything. The team starts to go insane, but soon realize that they have to make a decision. Do they stay in the woods and try to survive the next few days, or do they go back to the team hotel and try to win the game. They decide to go back to the hotel, and to make a decision that will change the course of their lives forever. It is very difficult to watch this film, because it is so bad. The camera angles are not consistent, and it is impossible to tell what is happening in the film. The characters are not consistent. The lines are not consistent. The ending is not consistent. This is one of the few films I have ever seen that is truly a "made for TV" film. It is so bad that it is good. It is a true story, but it is so bad that it is entertaining.

A few years ago I was introduced to this film by a friend. After watching it, I felt a great affinity for it. The film is a true story of the relationship between two young men, one of whom is a professional boxer and the other a former college football star. The story begins with the young man's first fight, a match against a stronger opponent. The young man is successful and is in the ring for the entire match. During the match he meets a woman named Jenny (played by Scarlett Johansson), who has just lost her husband to a drunken driver. Jenny takes the young man to the hospital where he receives a diagnosis of a broken collarbone. The young man is also told that his mother has been murdered. He then begins to get depressed. The two men have a relationship and they develop a friendship. One night the young man finds out that Jenny has been arrested for murder and his mother has died. He goes on a journey to find out more about Jenny. The journey begins to take its toll on him and the two men get closer and closer together. The film has a great atmosphere and the characters are so real. The acting is excellent. Johansson does a wonderful job in the lead role. Her character is so realistic and realistic enough to be believable. Her character has her ups and downs but she never gets discouraged and never gives up. She never feels like she is useless and she never gives up. The other actors are also great. They all give really good performances. The only problem I had with the film is that I did not find the ending as satisfying as I had hoped. I would have liked to see the two men have a relationship and the ending be a happy one. Overall I would recommend this film to anyone who is looking for a good film. It is very good and you will not be disappointed. I give it a 9 out of 10.
