No matter how you feel about slavery, this is an excellent film. One that is both deeply moving and, to be sure, deeply depressing. And a few things that it seems was left out were very important to the story. Firstly, there was no mention of the aforementioned Ithaca slave trade. For all we know, slaves might have been sold to Ithaca on a whim, and that's probably the extent of it. Second, although this film discusses slavery extensively, it is never seen as a popular topic of conversation. Secondly, the movie's violence is far less intrusive than other films that have dealt with slavery. I have to admit that the violent scenes were particularly important to the film's theme. I would call this film a masterpiece, if only we could overlook the issues of slavery. Well, here we are, nearly fifty years later and we still have the same problems.

A very refreshing movie, a must see for those who like to see a film without saying "I hate Hollywood" or "I hate John Woo." Yes there are some "movie-talk" moments and some action, but really this is a great movie with a great story, a great cast, great directing, great writing and great direction. The thing I like about it is how real it is, no Hollywood mistakes here, and the acting, the acting by everyone is top-notch. The movie itself is just about a guy who gets killed off, and a guy who keeps on fighting and still has some life left in him. No one goes out of his way to show their support to the guy because they just want to see him die, and then, some hero comes to the rescue and saves the day. This is a true story, and it's got heart. To me, the thing that made the movie real was the fact that it actually happened. That, and the fact that they kept the story going throughout the whole movie and didn't waste any time on the beginning, which was good, but when you get to the end, you're just numb. It's a real story, I liked it, it was real, and so was I.

This movie is about a woman who was imprisoned in a women's prison for 22 years for the murder of her husband and for having a daughter from that marriage. During her stay in prison she was confined to a small cell by a locked door with a bar on the door and a glass window. The conditions were such that the water was constantly going through the bars and the bars were not connected to the water supply. I'm glad I watched this movie. It's very good. What I really like about it is the portrayal of what prison is like. It's very real and horrible. Prison guards could never be anything less than ruthless. I don't know if this movie is true, but I think it's true. People have been committing suicide all over the world for the past thousand years because of the conditions of prison in that country. This movie was very good. It's a very good movie. I recommend it to everyone.

This is an excellent movie, one of the best I have seen. It is an extremely moving and thought provoking film about an experience that really will change your life forever. The characters are extremely well written, and the actors/actress are not afraid to show their emotions and make you feel for them. If you like dark comedies, this is the film for you. I would highly recommend it. It is just great!

Finally. After the "Stuart Little" movies in 1998, Spielberg had a movie ready to win the Oscar. It was "Saving Private Ryan" as directed by Tom Hanks. Now I think, Spielberg should go back to the Hollywood formula, and go back to the best formula of the 1980's and 1990's. I'll get back to the book-the book was great, I always believed that "The Giving Tree" was "One of the 10 Great Novels of All Time", however, I'm not going to get back into the books, because there is not going to be a point where I go back and read the books. I was very disappointed with this movie, the editing was off. The film moved from one thing to another and sometimes I wasn't sure what was happening. For example, the young girl Sarah is alive, then they send her off to Auschwitz, then they kill her, then they send her back. This all happens in 2 minutes. It would be better if they would move the movie a bit more quickly so that I wouldn't have a lot of questions. Another problem was that it was too long. The film was 3 hours, and it really just wasn't going to go anywhere, and then there is a lot of time to get to the plot of the book. The acting was good, and I believe the casting was perfect, especially Mr. & Mrs. Smith. I give this film a 9/10

This is a story of one family and the struggles they have to go through in order to survive. A lot of times in life we find ourselves in a mess, but because of our own personal beliefs or not it does not mean we should stay in that mess and if we are successful it doesn't mean we have to be better. That is what makes this movie so profound. I have learned this from being a young child and to a degree also from watching movies as a child, but the way this movie was told was so convincing. It is one of the most memorable movies of all time and one of the most beautiful movies I have ever seen.

Few films offer a lasting impression on a viewer. This is one of them. Simply put, this film stays with you. The characters are real, and the story unfolding, although trite in places, still feels very real. The emotions this film triggers in me are lasting, even though I've seen it about 10 times. The cinematography is breathtaking. Even though it is a labor of love, the film is well done. There is no conflict, but I couldn't help but feel for the people in this film. Each of the characters had their story, and you could identify with them. The screenwriter does a fantastic job of telling the story in a very intimate way. I found myself thinking about the characters as I was watching the film. I think if the story were more colorful, or included more people, the film would be perfect, but what we have is a very realistic, and somewhat heart-wrenching story. If you love stories, or if you're just interested in how things really are, watch this film. If you're not interested in the emotional side of things, you may not like it. It's a good film, but not Oscar worthy.

Lately I have been getting caught up in American culture, like someone else said, I just find it way too much. I've seen this movie a few times and it's still interesting. This movie was made by people who do not seem to understand English. And so this is a lot of their target audience. I like it because it's about a group of friends that meet in a mysterious place, they share some incredibly powerful experiences, they have some really profound and meaningful conversations and they both get to know each other. I've also seen it before, but still interesting. This is by far the best film of the year. It's really quite sad to see the good things this movie has and the terrible things. I guess that's why I keep saying it's really really sad.

When I first heard about this movie, I thought "Wow, another ugly movie about the Holocaust". But I was totally wrong. It was completely different, and very well acted. It was also VERY interesting, for that reason I thought it was excellent. This is definitely one to watch.

I saw this movie last night, and it is one of the best I've ever seen. For me, this was a good movie, although it had a few flaws. For one, I could have done without the song "Let It Go" because it was repetitive and not particularly emotional. I did like the fact that this movie was so grounded in reality, with all of the characters actually being decent human beings. The characters didn't seem to be living out of their own dreams. The storyline was interesting, and I enjoyed how it brought some of the concepts of the characters out of the fantasy world and into the real world. The acting in this movie was great. Liam Neeson was really good as the father, and I think I loved every bit of the performance. I really appreciated that they took the time to create believable characters and the same goes for the story. I also liked the way that this movie did not glorify the characters or their actions, and the contrast between the good, or bad, people in the story. I think the best part of this movie was when a viewer had to decide whether they were rooting for or against the character's actions. I personally think this movie is much more about who you are than who they are. This movie shows the best and worst of human nature, and I think that is what is really important in life. I give this movie a 9 out of 10.

I really don't know what to say about this film. It was an incredible experience. It made me sad and it made me laugh. Everything about this movie is brilliant. The actors, the directing, the script, the special effects, the costumes, everything. The story is very interesting and doesn't go on for too long. The story is very exciting and full of suspense. The story is divided into three parts. The first part deals with a family in America, during the twentieth century. The second part deals with a young man coming to a small town in Ireland. And the third part deals with a young man that he gets involved with. This is what makes this film so enjoyable. I will have to watch this film a few times, because it is just so good. It is a great film, full of great acting, great direction, fantastic story, great special effects, great costumes. I recommend it to anyone who likes a film that is very dramatic and full of suspense. This film is a masterpiece.

This movie was great! The story line was good, but the rest of the movie was not the best. The cast was great, but the direction was not very good. I did not like the way the movie was done. I think the movie should have been cut down. It is really a great movie, if you want a more accurate story line. I liked it better in the theatre. I recommend it!

The heart-rending story of a young girl in rural Louisiana. This movie will make you cry. The acting is great. The story is moving. This movie is just perfect for any age. The actor who plays the teenager is also perfect in his role. It's just a great movie. I am so glad it won Academy Award.

I'm so glad I came across this movie by accident. I hadn't heard of it before, but it's an incredible story of what happened in Japan during WWII. I was struck by the talent and endurance of the Japanese people. This is a powerful movie about the lives of the majority of Japanese during the war. I recommend it to anyone.

This movie has a very special place in my heart. I love this film. It has been more than ten years since I first saw it and I still remember it. It's a very moving story of a young man who is searching for something he hasn't found yet. I like the way the movie starts off by showing you how the boy finds out about his parent's death. As he sees his brother and his friend's bodies being taken away, he is shocked. The brother and the friend's bodies are a part of what makes him go back to his home town. I can't get him out of my mind. I think the movie was very well done. I think people need to see it again. This movie is truly one of the best movies that I have ever seen. It's really touching. I recommend it to anyone that wants a good family film.

If it wasn't for the excessive profanity and its delivery in the manner of a traditional "rambling" Jane Fonda speech, I could forgive the frequent violations of the cardinal rule of any good documentary, and make it pass on the rating scale. With that being said, it is a must see for any student of movie history or American history in general, and especially for those of us who have spent a lot of time or money studying these characters and periods. Do not pay attention to the blatantly distorted view of the era portrayed, nor are there any particularly interesting documentaries that show how Hollywood was less interested in exploring the community than was the government. These are just suggestions for people who are interested in the matter at hand, or are looking for a good movie to watch.

Jackie Dorsey was certainly a force to be reckoned with. She was a very original and unorthodox writer who took on her style and personality as she saw fit. And she accomplished her goals with the good of all concerned. You don't have to be a Dorsey fan to appreciate this film. It's a complete story of one woman's drive to achieve her goals.

Even if you've never heard of this film, please go and see it! For those who have, you're likely to get the idea of what I'm talking about. The way I understand it, "Summer of '67" is a story of a young boy who had a lot of "meeting" experiences, mostly of the terrible variety. I'll get to the bad stuff in a minute, but for the moment, lets look at what good things the film has to offer. It has an interesting story, a great script, and some wonderful acting. I'm also impressed by the way the director, Michael Mendheim, approaches the material. For a feature film, the film is very tightly edited and edited very well, at one point I was thinking I was watching a more high budget TV show. The editing is very good, and I'm a big fan of that, I always like to see some carefully done editing in a feature film. The acting is superb. Paul Newman and Edward Burns really have a great rapport, and they do a great job in the lead roles. Newman and Burns were really like kindred spirits, and I can't think of another actor who could have pulled it off like they did. They are both such great actors, they are so believable in their roles. They're both, so you really get a sense of how much they have to carry the film. Edward Burns also did a great job, it's easy to forget how good he is, because he is so good, but he's also so convincing, he really gives you a sense of what the character is all about. His character is very unique, and his performance was the main reason I enjoyed the film so much. And of course, how could you forget the great performance of Bernard Herrmann, he gives this great acting that he was very well suited for, he did a very good job, and he was the right man for the job. The direction and photography is also good. The film had the typical post-modern style, but I was impressed by the way it looked and I think it actually worked very well. It was a very interesting style for the film, with some really nice imagery that I really appreciated. I really loved the way the film looked, the way the movie was shot and the photography was really nice. I'm also impressed with the way the director handled the score, I'm not a fan of Bernard Herrmann's work, but he did a great job. Overall, I thought this was a very good film, and I have nothing bad to say about it. It's just one of those movies that I have watched over and over again, and it's always good to see the film again, and I also liked the way it was filmed. I would recommend it to anyone, even if you haven't heard of it. It's a good film, it's a really good film, and I really like it. It's a great film.

It is not often that I am taken to see a movie and think about it. It usually occurs with some documentaries and 'bout time a romantic comedy comes along. So I was intrigued by the premise of this film that I wanted to know more about it. I came away with a warm feeling about this movie. The movie was a reminder to remember the small things in life that matter and have a warm place in your heart for the person you love. The main character of the film is Kate, who is dying of a brain tumor. She has a job but doesn't make enough money to care for her son and daughter. Kate has been living off of Social Security and a pension she's received as an employee of the state. This is all taken care of because she is a wealthy woman. But because of her cancer Kate has had her last months of life taken away from her. As soon as she died her estate was transferred to her daughter and son. I felt sorry for the woman because of her situation, but I sympathize with her character because she does a very good job at what she does. I also felt sorry for her because she has the tendency to be very short with her daughter. It is when she calls her daughter to tell her that her father is dying that she feels the most connected with her daughter. She's a very strong woman and when her daughter feels her father's presence there is no way she can feel her mother's absence. The scenes when the father is able to talk to his daughter were very moving and he expressed how much he loved his daughter. He told her how much she means to him and he was able to show her what it means to be a woman. I have seen this movie a number of times and I think that I see a lot of things in it that resonate with me. One is that no matter how good a person you may be, there is always a part of you that does not function at a certain level. The man in this film shows how a parent who is good at something but needs to have someone to take care of him or her must make sacrifices and those sacrifices must be done with dignity. He had the capacity to be a wonderful father but was unable to do the right thing. He needed a person who would take care of him, but he didn't know who that person was and that made him feel that his own daughter was "all she had". He ended up giving up his own daughter because of that person. In the scene where his daughter wanted to hang out with a friend that had been helping her, he got mad because his daughter did not want to spend time with someone she wasn't getting along with. That made him feel angry because he didn't know what he should have done. He had to make some very difficult choices, but they all ended up being in his daughter's best interests. Another powerful scene in this film was when his son asked him what was wrong with him and he told him that he thought he would die someday and that he didn't want to go through that. The film did an amazing job showing the difference between having an idea and not having an idea. In the film, his son asks what he was thinking about and he said that he was thinking about his life and about how his daughter and her friends are "bouncing off him". That was a nice touch in that the son is learning about life from his father, but at the same time his father is learning about his son and the importance of family and living a meaningful life. I can honestly say that this movie has changed my opinion of many people in the family. I believe that this is a movie that would not be made today because of the pressures that society places on people who are struggling with life. It is a film that will help people to learn about what it means to be a person, to not settle for what is in front of you,

This was a fairly decent movie, with several brilliant performances from all the main actors. Some of the supporting actors, particularly the girls, were also great. This is a true story and the cinematography was just beautiful and touching. All in all, I recommend it.
