Description Eager to have a thrilling backpacking adventure, the young Australian photographer, Clare, leaves her real estate company, in search of life experiences and self-discovery in the unknown streets of Berlin. Before long--while admiring the strict former GDR's architecture--Clare will accidentally bump into the charming and mild-mannered high-school English teacher, Andi, and even though he is a perfect stranger, something in his gentle ways sets the stage for an innocent flirtation in the hassle of the big city. However, when morning comes--as a happy Clare wakes up in Andi's vacant house at a somewhat dilapidated tenement building--an unsettling discovery awaits her, as she comes to realise that, in reality, instead of being his guest, she is a vulnerable caged bird kept inside a reinforced prison designed never to let her out. How could Clare ever have trusted that snake in the grass?

This movie is so bad it is good. This movie will be regarded as a disaster if it does not come out on video or DVD in the near future. The very limited distribution in the US caused it to stay in the local video store for a few months before it made its way onto a theater near you. It is not bad, it is actually quite good. The movie is about a teacher who must deal with a student who has a disorder that makes him unable to interact with normal people. At the beginning of the movie, it looks as if he is going to be out for revenge but that is not the case. He is a nice teacher who tries to help the boy to get over his illness. The teacher is just like any other teacher would be. His behavior is not out of the ordinary. The teacher starts to think that the boy is unstable but that is not the case. The teacher sees the boy as a normal young boy who could be a victim of a school shooter. The teacher tries to get the boy to talk to people that he can trust. The teacher also tries to work with the family to try and help them to stop the boy from having this condition. This movie has some good elements. The beginning of the movie is extremely slow. I would not have liked it to be so slow. I would like to see a scene where the teacher is shown walking to his car and the music is playing as he gets ready to leave his house. This scene would have been interesting. The acting in this movie is decent. Sean Bean is a good actor and he does a very good job. Other actors like Ian Holm and Tom Sizemore are good as well. The direction in this movie is good. The movie has a very artistic and artistic look to it. The first scene in the movie was very well done. The teacher is very calm and calm, not like a person that is supposed to be acting. The film maker tried to portray the teacher as someone who is not being strong or "alive". It is not the case. This movie was very well made. The cinematography in this movie is very good. It is a bit slow but it is very worth it. The movie is worth seeing. It is really a movie that everyone should see. The very limited distribution was what made it stay in the local video store for a few months before it made it way onto a theater near you. It is worth seeing. It is not a bad movie at all. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned this here. I don't recall seeing this as a film, nor does it appear on IMDb. I don't recall the first time I heard about this, but I can imagine that somebody here has heard about it. Maybe that's why they're not writing more about it. The film starts out with a couple being shot by a suspicious woman in the first 15 minutes of the film. When we meet the couple, they have an ugly, lifeless look on their faces, and their friend goes to the police to find out if they are the victims. After the wife is attacked, the husband goes home and starts to kill himself. It's only a few minutes before his wife gets back, and they keep shooting at each other, so that she has to kill the husband and leave him to die. I can see how they would be obsessed with killing each other. The two main characters have no commonality, which is a bit sad, but not nearly as sad as the way that they've managed to end up in a horrible situation that they'd be happy to be out of. I'm not sure what I expected, but it was definitely not what I got. It was a good, well-made, low-key film, that plays up the tension quite nicely. The way that they used that tension to create a horror film that made the audience sit up and pay attention is quite good. It's quite surprising how the ending comes about, but it was also really well done. This isn't the best film that I've seen this year, but it was definitely one that I would recommend. I don't know if it'll ever find a home on DVD, but it's a solid, interesting film that should be seen.

*SPOILERS* This movie is like many others, the other reviews are highly inaccurate. The film starts off with a couple of familiar faces in the first 15 minutes, but they are only for the first half of the film. As the story develops, it's really surprising how many familiar faces appear. Some are subtle, others are almost laugh out loud funny. We get scenes of friends in their early twenties, and you see older people who have just gotten out of the military, and we even get a few scenes of officers in uniform. But I'm still puzzled by some of the critics comments, because they are based on people that have seen the movie already. Some of these people don't even like the movie. I've seen hundreds of movies and this is by far the most different from all of them. But there are so many scenes that are simply stunning to watch, that one could easily enjoy the film on it's own merits. The acting is phenomenal, the director has chosen to spend a lot of time on what seems like a lost set of characters, in the style of Hitchcock's 'Psycho'. Many people seem to be bashing this film because of it's originality, and I don't agree. It's original in its style, but it's still very different than any other film I've ever seen. Some of the original elements have been toned down, but I still think it's great, and very similar to what Hitchcock would do. The ending is also unique, and very unique. I didn't know what I was going to see when I saw it, but I was totally blown away. The directing is superb, but it doesn't need to be. This film is so much better than some other recent movies that have come out, that it's obvious the director put so much care and effort into the picture, but the film is not about the director, it's about the film. This is one of those movies where you will never get bored watching it. As with other films, this is not to be taken seriously. I really don't think it's worth the hype. I think it's one of those movies that is made for the whole family, and some of it's scenes are absolutely terrifying. If you are easily scared, I can see why some people wouldn't like this movie, but if you're looking for a film that is actually entertaining, and has a great plot, then this is for you. I can see why it's only rated PG-13. Some of the language and sex scenes will be disturbing for some people, but if you can take it, you will enjoy this film. I give it a 8.5/10.

A few years back I was having a discussion with my sister about "The Hunger Games" and how it may be the most anticipated movie of the year and how it could bring in over $100 million at the box office. I had always been skeptical that this movie would do well but I was not ready to tell her how. I have to admit that I was a bit surprised when the movie opened in Germany last Friday and the box office was less than anticipated but it is what it is and I am glad that I had decided to watch it. "Berlin Syndrome" is a movie that has been hyped and written about for a long time. The trailer is a rather disappointing one to tell you the truth, so the production team had to go a step further and actually make a great movie trailer that combines the movie with the music and visuals. They have done a good job of this and I think that the movie is more than good enough to stand up as a good movie. It has a good story and a good script. I have never seen such a bad acting performance in a movie but it's not all that bad. There are some good actors in the cast like Maggie Q, Marion Cotillard and Willem Dafoe but the two that stand out are James Cromwell and Yvan Attal. The cinematography is also great, the look of the film is good and it makes you feel as if you are actually in Berlin. In my opinion this movie is not as good as I was led to believe but it is still a good movie and I think it is worth watching even if you have already seen the other "Hunger Games" movies. 7/10

A very interesting film, one of the first to deal with the supernatural, that even manages to strike a chord with some people. Many reviewers seem to think that because the movie is about an unnamed killer, the only mystery is the identity of the killer. While this is the case, it is not the mystery that is the focus of the film. The film centers around two adults who are very close in age, and the relationships between them. The girls are attracted to each other, but the boys are never quite sure whether they are attracted to them or not. The film is very unique in that the main characters are friends for most of the film, and the relationships between the two are never completely defined. It is never as if one of them has a reason for their attraction to the other, and as a result the film never comes across as anything more than a quirky and interesting look at human behavior. It is also a pretty realistic look at teenagers and their relationships with one another, as they have not all made the best decisions. There are definitely points in the film that are depressing, and there are also points that make the film all the more interesting. While it is a very different film to say the least, the film manages to be well worth watching. It does have a fairly dark and depressing tone, but it also manages to be very funny at times, and there are plenty of eerie moments that make this film all the more intriguing. It also manages to deal with the supernatural in a realistic way, without being as heavy-handed as some of the more popular films that deal with this subject. If you are into psychological thrillers, or if you just want to see a film that has a realistic look at human behavior, I would recommend this film.

A film I have yet to see. I suspect the trailer would have told you a lot more about it than this review can. Here goes. After a woman disappears and her husband goes on a sick murderous rampage, a psychologist finds himself in the middle of the crime. In his search for answers he decides to do a little psychological research. That research becomes a dangerous affair with the woman who disappeared. What is scary is that this psychological research might actually be the key to finding the killer. I'm not quite sure what the director wanted to do here. Was it a horror film, a drama, a comedy? A horror film with a little drama or a comedy with a little drama? There are a lot of missing pieces in the puzzle and the conclusion may leave you scratching your head. This film is hard to explain. It's not exactly a serious movie, but more a drama with a little murder. It's a well made thriller, but it's certainly not a movie you should watch for its entertainment value. I think it's better to view this movie as a mix of some of the things that are wrong with society today, especially with respect to mental health issues and the mentally ill. It's also about the relationship between the therapist and the client, which may not be what the therapist wants but may be what the client wants. The scene in which the psychologist and his client share their feelings may be the best scene in the movie. The scene where the psychologist explains his relationship with his clients may be the worst scene in the movie. The moment in which he describes how he himself feels may be the most saddest scene in the movie. You may think the psychologist should have said something about this, but you can't help but feel that the therapist might not have been quite sure what he was doing. The character of the therapist is weak, the story is weak and the ending may leave you scratching your head. It's a good movie. It's a good movie about relationships and the psychology of mental illness. It's not a movie for everyone, but it's a good movie.
