The "Barbed Nails" (2015),the "Red Bamboo" (2014) and the "Bamboo Tree" (2013) movies are all very nice movies with a simple plot,wonderful art direction and an intriguing but not always well developed plot. Yet they all share one thing in common - they are all based on simple,almost no-realistic world of sci-fi,where only fantasy is present. "Barbed Nails" is the first one that tries to mix the two into a whole. Yes,it tries to be an action-filled,nightmarish film with some cool music and an unexpected happy ending. But it tries to do it in a way that the main characters are not all crazy,some of them can be even rather sensitive and realistic,with the exception of the main villain - he is a monster. Yet despite all this - I like the movie. The "Barbed Nails" movie is not perfect.It is still a bit underdeveloped,but I think this is the main reason why I like it so much. I believe that for a film with the budget of the "Barbed Nails" it should be way better. Of course,this is not a "100% perfect" movie -but it tries to be good.It has some nice effects and it has some nice,lighthearted action scenes. The script is okay,but some of the parts are a bit slow. And lastly - I have to say that I am very pleased with the score - in some places it is also not too bright,but it fits. You'll notice some obvious references to classics films - "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and "Planet of the Apes" among others. However,the soundtrack is mostly one of the things that makes "Barbed Nails" really stand out. "Barbed Nails" has one of the most "boring" endings I have ever seen in a sci-fi movie.I didn't mind it,I thought it was perfect,but I just didn't like it.Overall,the movie has some good moments and some bad ones.But overall,I still like it a lot. I rate it 8/10.

This film has an interesting premise. After a nuclear war destroys most of the world, and a global shortage of food creates a global depression, and a giant ship is heading toward the earth to harvest food. But is this a bad thing? Why are we having to go through a nuclear war to get food? It's a great premise, and most of the cast makes good characters. The story is very simple, the main character is a hard worker, and trying to survive after a nuclear war. The first half of the film is a bit slow, and some of the action scenes are too "over the top", but when the action stops, you feel like you're watching a lot of action. The film has a lot of humor, but the best moment is when the robot fights the giant ship. Overall, I really like this film. It's very entertaining, and has some action scenes you could watch many times in a row. This is a film that you should watch. 8/10

To all the fawning film critics: this is a child's movie and an adult's film, not a translation of a foreign film. This is an entirely separate movie, with a completely different story, characters and atmosphere, and its sole purpose is to let the Chinese folks know what the world is like in 1970. If you want to see Chinese movies translated in this manner, then go watch "The Three Burials of Nanjing." Those are the only movies that have ever made me laugh, cry and still be slightly embarrassed after viewing. "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" is not meant to be a foreign film that has to be understood by people outside of China. It's meant to be enjoyed by Chinese folks. The Chinese audiences that did not get this are just delusional. This is a major milestone in Chinese film making and a masterpiece in a genre that has been done before, but never so well and in such a way that it will ever be forgotten.

I really loved this movie. The characters were very interesting, I loved the plot, the story line, the special effects, the music.I loved this movie so much I bought the soundtrack. I will definitely buy it when it comes out. I just want to say, if you like the film, buy it, it's not to bad.

The plot line is really familiar and already has been done, but the animation and the music works really well together. Although the main story line doesn't make a whole lot of sense, it makes for a good laugh. As an old time sakkadan fan I really enjoyed the soundtrack and the opening songs are well done. I don't know why they are called "Sakkadan" because it's not that many characters. Anyway, I'll have to watch it again to try and sort it all out. Worth watching.

The first film was a little disappointing for me. As the movie progressed I was pretty sure it was going to follow the plot of the first film. The first was set after the first film, the second had a prologue about the origin of the aliens and the third story followed another plot which would lead to the climax of the first film. However, The Fury was not a full continuation from the first film, it was a mere prologue about the origin of the aliens. I admit that the second film had some good action scenes but they were just not the same as the first film's. However, The Fury was the only film of the trilogy which I enjoyed. The Fury had good acting, a good story and a great climax. There were some good visual effects, especially the fights at the end which reminded me of the first film's. The Fury had some good special effects, although the effects weren't all that great. There were a few fight scenes that were quite good but not as good as the first film's. The Fury also has some nice settings, such as the mountain, the mountain lake and the city. The Fury has a good script, although I do not agree with the original script. However, the original script had some problems. For example, the reason why the aliens had come to Earth was because the humans had reached their outer limits and started to destroy the planet, which was the main reason why the Earth's population has been dwindling. It could have been much more violent and violent in the original script. The Fury had a much better ending. The Fury was a much better ending than the second film. I enjoyed the film much more than the first film. The Fury had better acting, the ending was very satisfying, the special effects were better and the fight scenes were much better. I thought the second film was far inferior to the original film and I would highly recommend the Fury to any people who enjoyed the first film.

Chen Xiaoping plays the role of Li Mingliang,a young man who joins a secret society of ninjas in order to find the whereabouts of his beloved master. They make fun of his personality as he trains, but for the most part,they seem to be very nice. One thing that intrigues is that it is a shared feeling between the young master and his long lost master. Li Mingliang isn't as smart as his master,but he does enjoy the intellectual game of chess. He's a good student and soon a protaganist, but his master is about to die so he decides to pass his wisdom to his protege. The movie is fairly light hearted,as it is clear to see that there is no love in this world, only hate. There is a scene where Li Mingliang is seated in his garden, waiting for his master to return and say good-bye. In a quiet voice he says, "Go and eat your lunch, I've just been talking to you." In order to return to the monastery and pass the teachings, he has to be able to convince his master. The entire world is against him and he has to persuade everyone that the world he lives in is very much like the one in which he lived. There are so many ways that a person could win over the head of a powerful religious group. The movie takes many ideas from other movies. There is the evil law and moral law. The evil political faction and the good religious one. The ninja training is reminiscent of some of the movies that may have had a greater impact on society. There is the philosophy of reincarnation and the eternal nature of the universe. There is also the fantasy that is embraced by the characters. They pretend that they live in the future, that the world they live in will be a paradise for the humans. The story is fun and the characters are likable. I recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys a good story.

This movie is a great movie.I was a little surprised but it does has great action scenes and interesting story.A lot of jokes were funny and funny action scenes and but i think that everyone can enjoy this movie.It has good acting by all the actors.It is just so cool and a very good movie and i just want to give this a good rating.This movie does have bad and bad parts but this does have a very good ending and i would recommend this movie to all the people.A good comedy.

I watched this movie in cinema in the cinema in 4 cities, China, USA, Brazil. I found the movie very nice and very enjoyable to watch. At first the movie was at a bit slow in pace but later the pace quickened as well as the story seemed to become more complicated. The end of the movie was very great and the movie ended very sad. This movie is very well written, good story, good directing, good action. A very good movie for those who like action and entertaining movies. This movie is also a kind of sequel to "Xiao He". It's very exciting. The movie is very entertaining and exciting to watch.

Dosar's style of humor works best with this film. The "movie" format is not the strongest point of this film. We see how a parent is too much obsessed with getting back the love of his son. He is so dedicated to his son and doesn't want to let him go, and so his mother feels the need to do what is right. We see how different attitudes of the parents are, and how the father tries to fit his son to fit the picture he created. I also liked how the beginning of the film is funny and early, and how the dad goes after the son, and how he succeeds. Also, we see that the family is not perfect, and how they have different ideas about family. We also see that they have different ideas about how to treat the son. This is what makes this film so entertaining. It's not a perfect film, but I think it's a very entertaining film.

When I watched this movie, I couldn't help but compare it to that great Chinese action flick, Transporter: Bodyguard. Both these movies have a similar plot with a nice story, good acting, and well developed story lines. Just like the Transporter movies, the effects are fantastic and the characters are unique. However, the Transporter series is definitely much more enjoyable. The action scenes in the Transporter movies are much better, and the humor of the Transporter movies, is much better, it really does look and feel like a good comedy. The best part about the Transporter series is definitely the story. It's a very well developed story that has a good message for you to think about. It also has some great action scenes. With the Transporter movies, we are constantly getting a deep story that is never predictable. We get to know more about the characters and why they are doing certain things, which really makes the movie more enjoyable. The Transporter series is a very good series that I recommend watching. Also, the Transporter series has a great cast, with the actors they choose. One of the greatest actors in the Transporter series is Andy Lau, who really has the personality of a big hero. I also like the actors who portray the characters in the Transporter series, because they have a good background. The Transporter series is an excellent action movie series, and if you like a good, interesting, entertaining action movie that's not too predictable, I would definitely recommend the Transporter series.

For a year we heard all sorts of rumors about this film: "It's a miracle it's not like the first one!" "It's the most pretentious film I've ever seen!" "It's bad, it's bad!" These were all opinions. All I had heard was "The 1st one is the most pretentious!" We waited a long time for this film to come out in theaters. When the day finally came I had been anticipating it for three years. After seeing it, I was amazed that it wasn't just as stupid as the first one, it was almost as good. The plot was good but you had to pay attention because most of the time the jokes were supposed to be so ridiculous that they weren't funny anymore. The story was interesting but it didn't make sense. Some things were actually explained in a way that they made no sense. However, once the movie got going, it was fantastic. The special effects were not only spectacular but realistic, which made the film so much more interesting. If you like comedies like Inception, 12 Angry Men, or Shark Tale, then this movie is for you. If you are expecting a terrible film that will make you laugh until your eyes bleed, then I highly recommend you wait for it on DVD or VHS.

I always felt that the first film was good enough to warrant a sequel and I have seen it again recently. The second film was a little more ambitious than the first and that was not to my liking. I found the first film to be more of a character study than a traditional martial arts flick and that was why it felt slightly repetitive. But as I sat in the theater yesterday, I realized that this movie is the complete opposite of that. The second film is a dramatic, downbeat action flick with all of the same elements from the first film. I don't know if it was because of some creative decision or if the producers felt that their film would not appeal to Western audiences but it worked for me. The film is by far the best version of The Host yet. The story is essentially the same as the first film but the cast is vastly different. The first film had a cast of Chinese expatriates and it is almost impossible to relate to them except in the way that they were acting like something that they would not normally act. The second film is not only of Chinese origin but has a cast of other ethnicities and from different countries, there is nothing recognizable. But this is not what makes the film so good. For one thing, the cinematography in the film is superb. The cinematography in the first film was good but not amazing. The second film has a much better camera work. I can honestly say that this film is one of the best Chinese martial arts films ever and it is as good as any other martial arts movie I have seen so far in the past year. The film is very epic in scale and very important in style. It feels like a film of a certain era. As with the first film, there is not really a lot of nudity but I believe that it does add to the drama of the film. The character relationships are more complex than the first film which is good because I would like to have more character development. I felt that the story could have ended here, but the directors decide to go back to the Roman/Romania theme from the first film. So the story and the characters are more coherent. The characters are a little more developed than the first film but they still remain realistic. The story does not feel like a trilogy and I would like to see more story from the directors. I would like to see more time spent on the China theme in the film because it is almost a cliché and does not need to be discussed. I have seen this film twice and will probably see it again in a few weeks. I can recommend this film to anyone who likes martial arts films and/or those who enjoy epic films.

Ah, a movie where the two main characters speak only in dialogue. This movie has some of the most weird things I've ever seen in a movie. Both actors act very awkwardly as well. However, the movie has a very original plot, which i never found in any other Kung Fu movie. The two main characters have to solve a mystery in a place called "The Conflicter" where the bodies of both gods of the underworld have been found. The movie is very entertaining with great sound effects, cool fight scenes, and a lot of humorous moments. The story is very original and well written. The special effects are amazing, the fight scenes are exciting, and the actors do a great job. This is a great movie to watch with your family or friends. If you're looking for a really "bad movie" with no dialogues, this is the one to see. My rating: 7.4/10

I think it is great that this movie is getting so much attention. I like the style of the movie, it is very artistic and stylized. This movie is actually not a sequel but a very old Chinese comic book called the "Unexpected Truth." I hope this movie gets attention because I am sure a lot of people like this movie.

The third in the Yu Shuang trilogy of Kung-Fu movies. The first one was well-done and weaved the plot well. This one, sadly, is not very good. The story is not as interesting, the animation is very poor, and the sound effects are just plain awful. Other than that, the movie is good, and I had fun watching it, I just wish it had been better. If you've already seen the first one, don't bother with this one. I mean, it's far better than the first one, but that's not saying much. You'll find out what I mean when you watch it. If you haven't seen the first one, you're better off with the other two, they're better. See, if you haven't seen them, I'll be very harsh with this review. However, I do think the ending is pretty good. It's well-done. Finally, I'd like to comment on the animation. It's not very good, the quality is really not up to par. However, it's not really THAT bad, you could watch it for a couple of hours and still get a lot out of it. It's okay, it's passable. I also did a little research on the work of the previous director, Yu Shuang, so it was clear what it was doing, but that doesn't mean it's good. Yu Shuang is much better than this movie. So if you haven't seen the previous two, I would recommend those movies, they're much better.

The movie is a good value comedy and it contains enough action and drama, but some parts are difficult to understand and some plot twist may look too improbable. The good movie has good special effects and good acting, but the movies cannot escape from the typical Hollywood plot and the overall entertainment is modest.

This movie just goes to show that when you're mixing great cinema with comedy and violence, it's possible to create a movie that has a point to it. I just had this idea that in a way the Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was about a father's loss of a child and how the story was carried by two brothers, and so on and so forth. But the thing I found most fascinating about this film is that it actually happens, in a very stupid way. In this film, the father loses his child and the mother cries, the father kills himself and so on and so forth. It's just a pointless movie and you have to laugh at it and enjoy the mistakes in this movie. Don't forget that this is a movie, not a documentary. That's the thing. It's not to say that this movie has no story to it, but I just think it's just stupid and I really don't understand how so many people like it. This movie, if you just pay attention to it, is kind of a comedy, and if you like comedy, you'll like this movie.

If you are into mind games and/or Science Fiction, you'll love this movie. In fact, the plot of the movie is loosely based on The Future: A Film About Time Travel, to which it has some connections with the two Timecop movies. The story takes place in the future, which is the present, and the main character, who is a Timecop, is an agent in the future. He is sent to stop a terrorist who wants to destroy the world by holding the attention of the masses, at a certain time. He ends up following the terrorist's orders, and when he reaches the target, he learns the terrorist's real identity. Soon, he finds out that he can do whatever he wants, by thinking the thoughts of others, and he uses this power to take out the terrorist. However, his good intentions only have a negative impact, as the terrorist's technology makes his own insecurities work to their advantage. I really loved this movie. It is also interesting how a major part of the story is based on the movie The Future, which is a mix between The Truman Show and Total Recall. If you enjoy sci-fi movies, and are into mind games, this movie is for you. My favorite part of the movie is the animated part, which is a total mix between the CG-animated movie FIM OWAR and the Pink Panther movies. The movie is full of fun and interest, which make it a fun movie to watch. If you are not into mind games or sci-fi movies, you might be disappointed, but I recommend you to give this movie a chance, and you might not be disappointed. (By the way, if you are not familiar with any of the movies I have mentioned, you should watch them before watching this one, so you can prepare yourself for the main plot of this movie)

I have to agree with the previous reviewer who said that the plot was different from the first film, but I didn't really mind. I found the sequel to be better because the plot was a little more simple. The first film was like a 3 hour adventure movie that was trying to show us that a 3 year old had learned to fly. The sequel was like a 30 minute adventure movie that showed how this boy was learning to fly. In that, it was also trying to show that the monster actually wanted to destroy the human race. I liked that the plot was actually different. You didn't have to see how a giant ape flies a plane. That was cool. The only thing I really didn't like was that there was this little girl that was used a lot. She was a little annoying and I didn't think that she was very believable as a mother. Overall, the plot was good and the acting was very good. If you liked the first film, you should like this one. If you didn't like the first one, I would say that you would like this one. However, if you did like the first one, you might still like this one.

Chinese cinema does have a lot of good things to offer. Some are more off the beaten path than others. The Two-Lane Blacktop is one of those movies. The story, which really should have been the basis of the whole film, is fairly compelling. Of course, not everyone will be taken by this film. However, if you're a person that appreciates the art of Chinese cinema, you should certainly check this film out. It is very different than the rest of Chinese cinema but has a lot to offer. Of course, not everything in the film is great. But, it is a lot better than some of the rest of Chinese cinema. Not everything was executed well, but, for the most part, the film was very entertaining. The film's story is all over the place, as many of the scenes are just the plot of the film, and some were just unnecessary. Some were added as filler, or the whole film could have been cut down by another twenty minutes. The acting in the film was alright, with Zhang Ziyi making the most of the plot and bringing some depth to her character. Lin Feng did a great job in his role, and the rest of the cast was fairly strong, with the exception of Yimou Guo and Zhou Tong. The thing that really confused me was the supposed Chinese singing and dancing style. It was pretty clear that the producers had tried to cut out all Chinese music, but, there was still a lot of it in the film. This was actually a major problem for me, because I am a great fan of Chinese film, and I had enjoyed the music in the film. All in all, the film is worth a look if you're a fan of Chinese cinema. It may not be one of the best films ever made, but it is certainly a film that is worth seeing. 8/10

This film was a lot of fun and it had me rolling on the floor laughing. For those of you that were disappointed by the lack of action this is NOT the film for you. The action is actually good and it's what you want in a film. The film has some fun cameos and references to other films in the past and this is what makes it a lot of fun. It has many very memorable moments that I was laughing out loud. I can only describe it as a classic laugh riot.

Before seeing this film, I thought it was a good action/horror/adventure film. Upon watching it, I realized it was a perfect blend of all genres. Good, It had good characters, good action, and good effects. However, I was worried about the ridiculous amount of violence and gore in it, so I paid attention to the runtime. It was over 2 hours and 10 minutes. Luckily, it was only an hour and a half. Don't get me wrong, I have to say that the first, the second and the third of the series, are all great, but the second one is much more of an emotional film. You should watch the original, then watch this film. If you are looking for a mindless, good movie that just happens to be intense, see this film, however, if you are looking for something that is still good to watch for a more than 2 hours, see the original, and don't expect anything close to the level of the second film.

I was fortunate enough to have the chance to attend a sneak preview of the "Nightmare of The 50 Foot Woman". I must say it was not as good as the first one, but this film just had it's own kind of vibe. The animation is better, and the storyline is quite different from the original. The plot moves a lot faster than in the first film. There is even a new character, Elle, which takes up the space that is filled by the ghost. In this film, she is a vampire, and once she is introduced, she becomes a vampire herself. The script also has some funny parts, but still remains serious. The style of the movie is not original. It has some different types of animation, but overall it doesn't really make the film unique. Still, this is a good film to see for the adventure it can be. The one complaint I had is that there wasn't any point to the plot. Also, I would have liked to have seen more character development in this movie. Overall, the film is entertaining and definitely worth seeing, but not a masterpiece.
