I've been looking forward to this film for a long time. I've read the book and liked it immensely, so I was intrigued when I heard it was to be adapted. I was very excited to see it on the big screen. I was able to catch the pre-screening and was thrilled to see it was one of the most hyped movies of the year, as it was very entertaining and immersive. I had some issues with the pacing and the film was a little long at parts, but it was still a great thriller. The cinematography was beautiful and the soundtrack was extremely haunting. The film is about a man named Arnie who has a bad case of amnesia. After the death of his wife, Arnie must find a way to cope with his memory loss. I thought it was a great interpretation of his character. The casting of the film was perfect, and I loved the role of Arnie. I also liked the supporting cast. I thought Kevin Bacon and Haley Bennett were very effective in their roles. I thought Kevin Bacon was very convincing in his role as a drug addicted abusive alcoholic who Arnie must work with to help him recover. He was very believable and I found him quite engaging. Haley Bennett was good, but I didn't find her character that interesting. I didn't know what she was doing in the movie. She was not as intense as some of the other supporting characters. The ending was fantastic. It had suspense, it was sad, and it was powerful. It was perfect and is my favorite part of the film. It was a very moving ending and the way it ended was very powerful. Overall, I thought the movie was a very good adaptation of the book. The casting was great, the story was excellent and the ending was very powerful. It's definitely worth a watch.
