A mysterious father, who has disappeared at the beginning of the movie, finds his daughter's lifeless body in the family cabin, and his daughter's friend, who's supposed to have drowned in the lake, suddenly appears in his cabin and tells him what happened. A powerful drug named Flakka is claimed to be responsible for his daughter's death, and is now spreading through the local population. A local TV station is investigating, but in the meantime, the town is becoming more and more evil. In the meantime, the father, who's pretending to be a "drug addict" and a "freak" from the "Kongos", and his daughter's friend, are trying to uncover the truth behind this mysterious case, while a government investigator, who was ordered to "protect the innocent", is trying to uncover the truth behind the mysterious drug, and the people behind it. "Apocalypse Now" is a movie that's very powerful, very emotional, and very well-done. I think it's a must-see for every movie lover, and it's a movie that has to be watched by all movie fans, and not just those who like the Vietnam war or drugs. This movie's only problem is that it's a bit slow and not as well-done as it should be. I also didn't like the ending, where I think it should have been a bit more dramatic, and a bit more well-done. I also think it should have been a bit longer than 2 hours, and I also think it should have had a bit more action and a bit more drama and violence. It's one of those movies where you're not sure if it's a thriller or a drama or a horror movie, but in the end, you're still just a bit confused, because there's a lot of hidden clues, and a lot of characters that are very important to the story. And I also think that the movie's cast is good, and the special effects are good. So all in all, "Apocalypse Now" is an excellent movie that you have to see, but it's not as good as "Reservoir Dogs", which was a movie that I liked very much, and I also liked "Casino Royale", which was another great movie I liked very much. 9/10

A few years ago, I had read a magazine article that was quite captivating and intrigued me. The article was about the Ilsa Brantley book "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid", the screenplay was by John Dahl and it was called "Manhunter". I read that it was based on a real-life case. I decided to go out and rent the movie "Sgt. Cabot" and saw that the same writer had written the screenplay and the story was similar to this movie. I think it was "Manhunter" that made me to try and read the novel by Ilsa Brantley. The movie was completely different from the novel. It had an interesting ending and the final credits were very good, but I could have been a little more satisfied with the end of the movie. I was disappointed with the end. I think that the novel had so many twists and turns that the end had a lot of suspense, but the movie ended up being really boring. I think that they should have ended the movie with more suspense and excitement. They could have ended the movie with the real Ilsa's words in the novel that ended the book "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid" and that would have been a better ending for the movie. The movie "Sgt. Cabot" was also better than the novel. The movie showed a lot of good cinematography, I thought that the cinematography in this movie was very good. The actors in the movie were good too. The actors were able to carry out their roles with very good performances. I think that this movie was a little bit better than the book and was much better than the novel. I give this movie a 9/10.
