I have never been a huge fan of the animated family films. If I was, I would probably be a heavy, hard core Disney fan. But, I've seen enough of them to know that the films are not only cute and charming, but they're also insightful, funny, and just overall good. The Emoji Movie is no exception. It's one of the best animated films of the year. It's got everything: funny, intelligent, and full of heart. The main reason why it's so great is because it takes itself so seriously. It's like an inside joke between the characters that's like something you'd only find in a family film. I loved how they came up with such a unique way of talking to the animals. And the way they presented the stories of the characters was wonderful. It's full of heart, but not too much. It's not all about emojis and cute little babies, but about how we can all be just a little bit more optimistic. The characters are also great, especially the birds and the dog. The only character I didn't like was T.J. Miller, but he's only in the first few minutes of the film so you'll have to see how he's behaving. Overall, this is a very good animated film. It's different from all the other animated films of this year, and it will be great for the kids. It's not perfect, but it's great. And it's going to be a big hit with families, adults, and kids. The Emoji Movie is the kind of film that will get you laughing and have you smiling for hours. It's a good film, it's got heart, and it's full of humor and smiles. 9/10
